Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass #2) By Sarah J Maas Book Review
Throne of Glass was something…
BUT THIS JUST TOOK THE CAKE!
I can’t believe what I just read. Blame it on the adrenaline of just having finished the book but this was one of the best reads I have read this whole year and I don’t give that compliment very regularly. But honestly Crown of Midnight deserves all the praise it gets because it is worth every word of every 5 star review on Goodreads and more. If you read this book then perhaps you’d understand this as well but as you probably haven’t (yet) then let me break it down for you.
Basically Crown of Midnight starts off where Throne of Glass ended where we see Celaena Sardothien end up becoming the King’s Champion and she goes on quests to rid the King’s enemies. As Celaena’s world crashes down around her she has to decide where her loyalties lie.
Can I just take a minute to cry right now… *breathes in deeply*
The whole storyline the characters the EVERYTHING of this book was just spot on everything was done so well I can’t even fault it. It showed girl power to the max and it was just breathtaking to read. Honestly Sarah J Maas is making this so hard for me to critique… this novel is a massive build-up for the drama that will unravel in Heir of Fire and the other books in the series.
I AM DYING TO READ THE SEQUEL!!!
