Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter #3) Book review

Meet one of my favourite Harry Potter books!

It’s called¬†Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban¬†and let’s just say it is one of my favourite Harry Potter books out there. Or at least it has been when I first read it in 2016. Now reading this again, I can see why I loved it so much (I was in that awkward vampire/werewolf/paranormal phase) but now I guess since I’ve grown up and matured I think my favourite book is in fact Goblet of Fire but let’s just say I can totally see why this still holds a special place in my heart: Sirius Black and Professor Lupin. I love those two so much I think they really made the book so incredible!

Going off from Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban is the only Harry Potter book sans Voldermort which I thought was a nice change given it was focused on the supporters of “He who shall not be named” I also really enjoyed the werewolf spin on things and the backstory of Sirius and his whole character dynamic in general was to die for.

I also loved what Harry said to Uncle Vernon at the end of the book but I’m not going to spoil it for you. Just know that it’s just such a great line! XD

ACTUAL RATING: 4.5 STARS
